FAQs

What is virtual schooling?

This is a home-based learning system where students don’t need to go to a school building. Everything is done online, from lessons to homework and exams. Despite the distance, the program ensures a close and personal connection between the teacher and the student.

How do I register my child?

You can do that through the register now page.

What makes Dua Virtual School unique?

With a global student body, children interact with peers far beyond their local area. Our faculty is equally diverse; students learn from a broad pool of professionals, experiencing unique teaching styles and diverse perspectives.

What curricula do you offer?

Our students follow the British International curriculum, which sets a global standard for education. It creates inquisitive learners and prepares them for success at top universities. In addition to this, we are expanding our offerings to include American, ACE, IB, and French curricula. Contact us today to find out which options have been added.

Will the student be as competent as those going to a physical school?

We ensure no child is left behind. Our teachers take extra time to explain lessons, especially for older students. We teach the exact same syllabus used in regular schools, so students are ready for their exams. Because they learn in a relaxed, stress-free environment, our students often perform better than those in traditional schools.

How and where do I access the learning materials?

Teachers will provide a specific list of required books and stationery. You can easily purchase these items from local stores or online shops.

How qualified are your teachers?

We recruit top-tier talent from around the globe. Our teachers are required to hold a relevant degree, valid government certification, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience with international curricula. We also prioritize superior English language proficiency to ensure clear and effective communication.

What is next after year 11?

Upon successful completion of the British International curriculum, students obtain internationally recognized certificates, granting them access to universities worldwide. At Dua Virtual School, we continue this journey by offering a complete A-Level program (Years 12 & 13). To ensure our students are future-ready, we provide frequent career coaching led by reputable professional consultants to guide their career progression.

What about homework and assessment tests?

The teachers gives frequent homework to the students, which is done and submitted through the portal.

Are there any student assessments in the onboarding stage?

Yes, we do have assessment done in written form to gauge whether the child is at par with the current class work. Further assessments are done by teachers at class in the first few weeks and report is shared with the parent.

How are examinations conducted?

Regular assessments are integral to tracking your child’s academic progress. We conduct internal examinations twice a semester, followed by a dedicated ‘clinic session’ involving the teacher, parent, and student to review performance, needs, and strengths. Our assessment method is hybrid: virtual exams enhance digital literacy, while written exams (sent via email for printing) simulate traditional testing conditions to prepare students for their final year examinations.

How will my child be taught from home if there is no going to school?

Through our interactive portal, students attend full-fledged classes where they receive more personal attention than in regular schools. Our teachers ensure the whole syllabus is completed so students are fully prepared for their final exams.

Can parents communicate directly with the teachers?

Parents can communicate with teachers easily through the portal. Additionally, every parent receives the direct contact details of the class teacher.

Is a physical meeting possible?

You are welcome to visit us at our offices. Alternatively, if a physical visit isn’t possible, we can schedule a virtual meeting call. Contact us here to get started.

What are your target students?

What happens in practical lessons?

Most practical lessons are effectively simulated virtually by our teachers. However, for higher levels such as A-Levels where hands-on experience is crucial, we organize physical laboratory sessions.

Do you have any extra co-curricular activities?

To ensure our students have fun and build friendships, we organize physical meet-ups twice a semester, bringing together students, parents, teachers, and management. Additionally, individual classes hold mini meet-ups in educational and recreational spaces to foster a holistic and socially active learning experience.

Learning at Dua Virtual School is never boring! Our teachers create live, fun-filled environments using tools like music and art for younger kids, and interactive games and presentations for older students. We ensure every child is actively engaged from start to finish.

We assist in securing registered and certified examination centers for your child’s final assessments. These venues are selected in consultation with parents, ensuring the location is convenient and accessible for the learner.

Do you send evaluation reports?
